FAQ
Straight answers.
- How accurate are the estimates?
- EstimateIQ writes a preliminary, AI-generated estimate from the vehicle, your damage description, and any photos you upload. It is a starting point, not an appraisal or a binding quote. Hidden damage, parts pricing, and teardown findings can change the final number, so review and adjust every estimate before you give it to a customer.
- Does it replace CCC ONE or Mitchell?
- No. EstimateIQ is for fast preliminary estimates, such as walk-ins and quick quotes at the vehicle. It does not replace the full estimating platforms insurers and DRP programs require, and it is not affiliated with CCC Intelligent Solutions or Mitchell International.
- Can I use my own labor rates?
- Yes. In Shop Settings you can set your body labor rate, paint labor rate, materials rate, and tax. New estimates use those settings; existing estimates keep their saved rates.
- Can I send estimates to customers or insurers?
- Yes. You can print or save an estimate as a PDF with your shop details, or share a link to it. Whether an insurer accepts it is up to that insurer; EstimateIQ estimates are preliminary and are not guaranteed to be accepted for a claim.
- Is my data private?
- We do not sell your personal information. Vehicle descriptions and damage photos are sent to OpenAI to generate estimates, under its API data policies. Estimates are stored in your account history, and you can request access to or deletion of your data by emailing myphillyauto@gmail.com. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
